The first 3D-printed house in North Rhine-Westphalia is being built in Beckum – a flagship project for innovative and sustainable construction. GLAPOR is part of this pioneering concept with its resource-saving cellular glass products: as insulation under the floor slab and as pressure-resistant flat roof insulation.

The advantages of 3D printing are obvious: entire walls grow within a day, significantly reducing the amount of material used and construction time. At the same time, GLAPOR cellular glass gravel provides a stable, thermally insulating base – pressure-resistant, dimensionally stable and ecological. On the roof, cellular glass boards provide permanent thermal and moisture protection.

GLAPOR products are made from 100% recycled used glass and can also be recycled at the end of their useful life. This significantly reduces the use of natural resources – while at the same time ensuring a long service life and high technical performance.
